Your friends and neighbors who own EVs will show you their cars & trucks, and explain what the driving experience is like.  You can ask about “range anxiety” and how that plays out in real life.

Find out the EV difference in scheduled maintenance (almost none), acceleration (awesome) & braking, and see for yourself how various models differ from each other. There are rebates and tax incentives available for some models, and there are even some used EVs on the market.
