Free Hot Water Heater?

Manchester Energy Committee
You may qualify for a free Heat Pump Water Heater.
That’s right. Free if you qualify as low-income: up to $65,500 per year for a couple. Or... a 90% rebate those with moderate income: up to $98,400 per year for a couple. For example, if you buy a brand new heat-pump hot water heater for $4,000, and you qualify as moderate-income, you would pay only $400. Efficiency Vermont will mail you a check for $3,600.
It gets even better…
When you file your Federal Income Tax, you can claim a 30% tax credit on the full $4,000 price, meaning you would get a tax credit of $1,200. So, for spending $400, you could save $1,200 on your Federal Income Tax. Even if you qualify as low-income and get a 100% rebate, you still qualify for the full 30% tax credit on your Federal Income Tax.
This is not a joke or a scam. It’s totally legal.
